Many women don’t wear the right type of bra for their body type. The size may be right; but, the style they select often does not give them enough support or coverage. Some women need an underwire bra for coverage while other women find that a soft cup bra meets their needs.
Your bra won’t fit correctly if you have plus size bra fit problems. These problems typically are either you are wearing the wrong bra size or the wrong style for your figure. For example, if the band is digging into your rib cage you might need a larger size band size. However, if your problem is a sagging bust line, you might be wearing the right size; but, you just need to avoid styles with a super stretchy back or stretchy straps. Your bra might feel comfortable; but, it doesn’t provide the support you need.
You don’t have to spend a fortune to build a plus size maternity basic wardrobe…clothes which you’ll only wear a few months. In fact, you may not need maternity clothes at all.
Fact: If you wear a pre-pregnancy size 14-22 you may be able to wear loose-fitting, non-maternity clothes in a size or two larger than your pre-pregnancy size. You might not need maternity clothes until month eight…or, not at all.
